I'm working now on the new driver code that will lead to changes on higher software levels and there will be no ccam.cgi there. So camvc2 will be the only choice then.

Does setting monocrome or flip modes in camvc2 really not work or am only I getting these trouble.

Sometimes there can be a couple of broken frames between good ones if to change the resolution in CAMVC by dragging the preview window (changing X & Y at the same time). If the frame size is changed using input boxes or through parsedit.php - everything works fine.
