app-bar is the short term for Application Bar and should soon be the index / start page of 8.0 cameras.
Purpose
This navigation helper should assist people who just recently started working with the camera and who do not yet have an overview of all available applications or features of the camera.
The App-Bar tries to use intuitive and self describing software names (like "Disk Recorder") but also provides their "codenames" (like "camogmgui") in the full list view.
Features
- very minimalistic at the top of the page
- can be expanded with the "More" button
- full list displays applications in 3 categories: main, beta, alpha
- loads all applications from an xml file that can easily be updated
- full list shows camera specific information like firmware version, etc.
