My project ideas: Overview

My name is Micheal Green and I am a student film maker. While I have many ideas for apertus, my main goal is to improve the cameras ability to be used on a larger scale such as documentaries, music videos, and even feature lenght or short films. Apertus requires external devices such as a laptop or a netbook. To me this is a limiting feature for a film maker on a tight time schedule. Wasted time can be wasted money. If there was a different, wireless, way to connect to the camera, time could be saved and allow for much more complex shoots.

The proposed added features:

  • add an integrated wireless connection for tablet/ computer devices
  • Port elphel vision to android
  • software customizations for android
  • enchanced user interface.
