The equirectangular projection size: 14268x7135 which equals to ~100MPix but since it's a projection the real pixels are stretched - they only look close to the real ones when on the virtual sphere. At the same time the equatorial line of the projection consists of real pixels since they are projected as they are due to the projection's properties.
