The compas currently has no calibration software, or any software at all. The specs [1] can be used to implement such thing. From my personal view it would be good to create a daemon that does positioning, in a global and a local way. Calibration of the compass can done be by having GPS accuracy and motion, while other parameters should be done by the user itself.
