How to build a Canon EOS Lens adatator for Elphel 333

A heasy way to build a C adaptator for Canon EOS Lens [3].

Take a protection of lens, make a central holl and fixe two C/CS adaptators [4] to avec a good focal distance.

We have tested various Canon Lens that professional reporter lend me. [5]

The main of this test is to try to use Canon EOS lens, more reference and less expensive of C Lens. The second gool is to be able to use hight definition of CMOS sensor without optical resolution of C-Lens. canon Eos UMS PRO 17-40 : mount of 333 Elphel [8]

In fact : a canon large vision become a Power Zoom this CMOS size difference. 35mm to 1/2" [12]

Conclusion : image quality is better than C-lens (varifocal computar our fixe-focal Fujinon) but Canon lens become a super Zoom Lens and we not certify thermal stability of adjustment action (focus)

It will be fine to test a fishEyes for Canon.

Examples of Electronic Rolling Shutter Distortion

A picture what was made from Elphel's Motor Office moving at approximately 40 mph. [15]

As in 5MPix resolution we have 1/15 second delay from the top to the bottom of the image everything is distorted. Everything but our reflection :)
